Makassar Roadshow 2026: Matari Gets Closer to Its Customers
18 September, 2026
Through Karya Logistik, Matari held Roadshow 2026 in Makassar as part of its efforts to bring its machinery products and solutions closer to users across Sulawesi. Makassar Roadshow 2026 took a hands-on approach, featuring booths, machine demonstrations and trials, as well as direct interactions with farmers, fishermen, dealers, and local communities.
Held from April to May 2026, the roadshow covered several areas, including Majene, Mamuju, Topoyo, Palu, Toli-Toli, Buol, and Manado. Throughout the roadshow, the team brought a range of Matari products designed to support agricultural and marine applications.
Hands-On Matari Machine Demonstrations in the Field
One of the main focuses of the Makassar Roadshow 2026 was to give potential users a direct experience with the products. Through machine demonstrations and trials, visitors could see the machines in action while discussing their specific needs and field applications with the Matari representatives. The products featured during the roadshow included agricultural machinery such as tractors, tillers, gasoline engines, generating sets, and air-cooled diesel engines.
This hands-on approach also helped the Matari team gain a better understanding of users' needs in different areas. In Majene, for example, farmers needed machinery to support onion and vegetable farming, while fishermen were looking for solutions for fishing nets and ketinting boats. In Palu, farmers showed interest in tillers with specific blade configurations, while fishermen needed reliable engines for larger boats.
Building Trust Through Direct Interaction
Beyond introducing its products, the Makassar Roadshow 2026 provided an opportunity for two-way communication. Direct interactions with potential users allowed Matari to better understand their needs, challenges, questions, and feedback regarding machinery.
The roadshow also highlighted the importance of collaboration with farming and fishing communities, improving product knowledge among the sales team, and ensuring that location and machine units were properly prepared before demonstrations. These insights have become part of the action plan for improving the effectiveness of future roadshows.
Growing Together with Users Through Matari Roadshows
Through the Makassar Roadshow 2026, Matari not only introduced its products but also gained valuable insights into market needs across different regions of Sulawesi. Direct interaction in the field plays an important role in building brand trust, expanding market reach, and creating opportunities for further engagement with users and local partners.
Looking ahead, the experience gained from this roadshow will serve as a foundation for Matari to continuously improve its product demonstration activities, strengthen collaboration with local communities, and provide machinery solutions that are increasingly aligned with the needs of users in the field.
